Create...

Yay! I've found the time and energy to do some creating! *About time!!! grumble, grumble* And even though there are only two layouts, I'm still pleased with myself!

The first is - "My prince".

I just loved the "innocent" look Ethan gave me when I took this photo. Very charming and regal-like! Hehehe... Hence the title.

The next layout was inspired be the "Mother Hen" chipboard piece that Petrina McDonald sent me! I loved it and thought it reminded me very much of Christmas and "Partridge in a Pear Tree"... - "Joy & Laughter".

Isn't it so cute! All delicate and perfect for my layout! Thanks Petrina!

Oh Gosh!...

I am soooo behind in all my blogging! But the kids are back at school and Ethan and I are finding new ways to use up my flagging supply of energy! Yep. It's time for the news... Even though for some of you out there this is no surprise and certainly by now, not news but here we go! I am sixteen weeks pregnant and violently ill for most mornings. My relationship with the toilet bowl is not a pretty one...but, here I am trying to get through what I hope is the worst of it because the end result is soooo worth it. That's right, number four is on the way!!!

So many people have either one of two reactions... Congratulations! Are you crazy? or Congratulations! You are a glutton for punishment. I kid you not. Lol! I don't think one person has varied from the script yet!

So here I am counting down the weeks. Baby is due in early July.

In other news, I have been awarded and tagged! Thanks to Kathleen and Angie for thinking of me and that my little blog is worthy of some attention! Lol!!

Kathleen has given me this award for having a blog which:

"believes and invests in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers, who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their awards".

Thanks again Kathleen. How sweet is that. I am sorry to say however, I think I have missed the window of opportunity in which to pass this on. There are so many fabulous blogs out there I wish I could pass it on to! But I hope she doesn't mind if I just let this one slip by...considering my energy levels at the moment! *insert cheeky grin*

And Angie has challenged me to tell a story about the sixth photo in my sixth photo folder on the computer...

And here is Ethan in his element, enjoying a FULL box of savoury biscuits that he helped himself to! So cute! Especially with all the flavour covering his face!
So that's it for now. Hope everyone is well!

Favourite...

I just wanted to share a series of favourite photos that were taken over the Christmas holidays.

It looks like he is almost too scared to hold it! ( The sun was in his eyes!) Lol!!! But that's my "bug" boy! Always foraging for new insects to hold and, or collect!
Will be back later with some news and an award! Yay! Thanks for visiting.

Yikes! Sorry...

But who else is stuck doing this?...

I feel like I am eons away from achieving anything at the moment. *Deep breath!* Just one step at a time. Lol! But I have also manages to scrap...if only just a little.

Home again, home again...

Finally, after another arduous trip, we are once again back home among our creature comforts. It's nice to be able to go away...but there's nothing like coming home to your own bed! *sigh* Lol!

The travelling went reasonably well, if you call sitting in a car for 17 hours, travelling! The kids spent the time squabbling among themselves, watching dvds, playing cards, and towards the end of the trip, complaining profusely! Oh well, you can't win them all!!!

So I am now very glad to be home. Ready to face covering school books and possibly unpacking. I haven't decided if I will follow through with this straight away. I think that I will have to do some scrapping first!

In the meantime, here are some photos promised. Christmas, birthday and just some general holiday/family stuff.

Writing letters to Santa...
Spending time at the river...

Playing with the ducklings...

Waiting for Santa to come...
Enjoying the pool...

And blowing out birthday candles...
This has kept us all very busy!

He is Three!...

Yes! Our baby boy is now 3! Although he likes to think he is seven?! He woke up to what seems like, another truckload of presents...which has come reasonably close after Christmas. In fact yesterday, when we in town, we saw that some shop displays still have Christmas presents shown in their windows. Ethan was walking along, looking at each display saying, "Is that MY present? Yes it is!" This was said with as much excitement a two,-very-close-to-being-three-year old can muster, and much to the amusement of people walking by.
Anyway, with a fire engine birthday cake and a family birthday party planned for this afternoon, there will be more photos to come!
