Merry Christmas!...
Jingle Bells...jingle bells...jingle all the way!! Merry Christmas Everyone! We wish you all the very best for today and the coming new year.
We are currently melting in the tropical, summer heat of North Queensland, Australia. A beautiful place to be while spending time with family.
Here's what we've been up to lately....
My Mum has recently come out of hospital, having been diagnosed with two bleeds on the brain. This seems to have resolved itself...for now. Investigations are still ongoing. But while we have been spending time with her during her hospital stay, we have also been introducing the kids to their local surroundings.
The first few days after travelling north were spent in Townsville. While Mum was recovering, we visited The Strand and the pool. There were some gorgeous views of Magnetic Island from the beach.
We then travelled west to Charters Towers...and decided that after all the running around we had done recently, it was time to relax...
...even if it was only in a tree!
Our little boy has been practising sitting up...
...and there has been total madness using the hose at Nanny and Grandad Jim's house!
So that brings us up to today...Christmas Morning!
They were up nice and early...of course! So early, we even had to wake Cameron! We hope you are having a wonderful and magical day! Many blessings and best wishes to you all! Mwah! Merry Christmas.

Family Emergency...
Hi everyone... Just posting this short note to let you all know, that I am taking an enforced blogging break. We are in North Queensland for the next few weeks quite unexpectedly. I am hoping to post once or twice but I really am uncertain as of this moment.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and magical Christmas. Enjoy your time with family as you never know what is going to happen tomorrow.
Thanks for visiting. xx

Scrapboxx newsletter...
Hi... I just wanted to share a recent layout that came out in the Scrapboxx newsletter today. I got to play with the "Boxx of Scraps" kit which, for a first timer, was a lot of fun.
This kit was perfect for Ethan. He is always walking around the house with either a hammer or screwdriver or spanner.... just looking for something to fix! When this photo was taken, I'd just caught him in the garage next to our "new" car, with a screwdriver in the back pocket and wrench hidden behind his back! I'm not sure what he was planning, but it probably was going to be expensive! LOL!
note to self: Ask Santa to give this boy a tool box for Christmas!!
I also made this card. The cardstock reminded me of a blackboard and the ruled lines and pencil patterned paper seem to agree! hee hee...
TFL... More to come soon.

Teething...
There's the runny nose... the mild temps... the constant shoving of things in the mouth...the biting of Mummy's shoulder...

New layouts .... Sorry, what was that? Yep. I know. It's been a while. But here they are. Two of them. Yay!!
This layout was one I did about Cameron's hand print. I really wanted one before he got too big and I let time get away on me. That's been happening a lot at the moment. Does anyone know the secret to putting more hours into your day? If you do, PLEASE share!! LOL!
The second layout is also about Cameron.... Surprise, surprise! :)

I love this patterned paper. I think I've always liked orange. I seem to use this colour a lot with my boys. The little touches of blue and white are indicative of a new baby boy... *sigh*
And what's that? Is that a glimpse of ME??? I'll have to stop popping up in these photos! LOL! Tahlia took this photo and I think she did a pretty good job. :)
