Jillibean Soup | Remember..

Hi Everyone.  I am back to share some more Jillibean Soup before the weekend comes around.  *grin*  This layout was actually created for The Scrapbook Store and the October DT kit that was sent my way...

"Remember"

products used: cs - Kaisercraft (vanilla); pp - Jillibean Soup: Grandma's Lima Bean Soup; other - Jillibean Soup: Hexies (Forget) & coordinating cardstock stickers, Mister Huey's color mist, versacolor ink; tools - typewriter.

I really love those hexies!  And the colours were perfect for this fun three-year-olds-can-easily-handle-technology photo!! *grin*  It's so cute seeing Cam and his cousin Jessica cuddled up on the couch playing with iPods or iPads!

Anyway.. I have another full weekend ahead of me with Tahlia's full dress rehearsal in preparation for the end of year ballet concert. Woo Hooo!  Fun times and plenty of photo opportunities! ;)

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful weekend.  PS - Don't forget to join me on the Scrapbooking Memories Blog Hop next week!!

See you there...x

Bella BLVD | Mini Album...

Hello Everyone!! Today I am excited to share with you my little mini album created for Bella BLVD and the Basically Bare team up!  I am also a little aprehensive too because I don't normally venture outside of scrapbooking layouts.  But I figure, if I don't challenge myself every now and then, how will I know what I can achieve!  *grin*..  So here goes...
 "Home Away from Home"

My main objective with this mini was to create something I can keep all of our favourite camping memories in.  We go camping a lot.  And the kids love these adventures.  So... I really needed to create a space for these memories to be kept together and of the main camp sites we visit over and over again.

The first few pages are half the size of the Basically Bare album itself.  I wanted to document things we always do regardless of where we spend time camping - bike riding, bush walking, swimming and setting up the tent.

The mini album came with envelope inserts and in these I have kept essential information and details such as location, contact details and price lists. :)  It will be interesting to be able to compare these things in a few years time.

What I have found that I love the most about this mini, is that I can continue to add to it...  The more adventures we have, the more places I can document about.  Sort of a bucket list to tick off as we travel and explore.

If you would like to see more photos, please visit this blog post over at Bella BLVD.  Thanks for visiting...x

The Scrapbook Store | So Very Lovely...

Hi Everyone.  We are coming to the pointy end of the year where the kids have school concerts, Rock Eidstedfodds, Ballet Christmas Concert rehearsals and much, much more...  So the days haven't been filled with much scrapping lately.. :)

But what I can do, is share this layout created with my November Kit for The Scrapbook Store..

"So Very Lovely"

products used: cs - Kaisercraft; pp - Crate Paper (On Trend); other - Crate Paper: washi tape stickers & 12x12 chipboard, Mister Huey's color mist, versacolor ink, We R Memory Keepers washi sheet, button, Fancy That Dies: Hexagon wall paper.

I wanted to create a layout that was graphic in design but also had a feminine feel to it.  The block pattern, created from the 12 x 12 chipboard and "On Trend" patterned paper, has been accentuated by the hexagon wall paper die.. cut from a washi adhesive sheet.

If you want to know more, head on over to the gallery for extra details.  :)  Thanks for visiting..x

Stuck?! | Little Fish...

Hi Everyone!  Have you all been playing along with Stuck?! Sketches??  I just wanted to let you know that the mid-month sketch is now available to inspire you all!

And here is my layout...

"Little Fish"

products used: cs - Stampin' Up, Kaisercraft; pp - American Crafts (Dear Lizzy); alpha - American Crafts thickers, Carolee's Creations tiny alphas; other - Greatest View sequins, Dear Lizzy pinwheel, Bella!/Ruby Rockit cardstock stickers; tools - corner rounder, machine stitching.

I wanted to create a sunburst in the patterned paper space on the sketch.  This still gave me some room to have my white space below.

I quickly snapped this photo of Cameron as he got out of the pool from his swimming lesson! hee hee.. It was a bit of a covert operation as no photos are allowed.  But since I was taking a photo of my son only.. I thought I could get away with it just this once!  *smile*  Do you know how hard it is not to be able to take a photo of your kids and their milestones!!! I struggle with this one every week.  Still, this is the only photo and I have none of Ethan at his swimming lessons.

Anyway... Getting back to Stuck?!  :)  I hope you get to play along this month, because there are some wonderful prizes up for grabs.  Thanks for visiting..x

Bella BLVD | Saturday Sketch..

Hi Everyone!  I'm back to share with you another layout created for Bella BLVD.  This fun and slightly c.r.a.z.y layout was inspired by both the gorgeous Kiss Me collection AND the Saturday Sketch! phew!  What a combination..!  hee hee...

Here is the sketch ...

And my layout...

"Mr 6"

products used: cs - kaisercraft, bazzill; pp - Bella BLVD (kiss me); alpha - Bella BLVD: high five alphabets(blue, brown+cream); other - Bella BLVD: Kiss Me Alpha+Bits, vellum, bakers twine, ink, foam tape; tools - machine stitching, typewriter.

My fun loving boy has quite the imagination!  On the day he decided to "grow" a moustache, I was playing with Kiss Me!  He asked me, ever so sweetly, if I could give him a moustache from the Bella BLVD paper collection.  So I did.  Except not quite what he was expecting! :)  Instead of handing him paper, I just painted one straight onto his upper lip!  LOL! Then of course I couldn't let this photo opportunity to slip by!  *grin*

Head on over to the Bella blog to check out what the other DT members created!  And then, if you are inspired to play along, don't forget to post your LOs to the Bella BLVD facebook page.  Thanks for visiting..x

The Scrapbook Store | Hello...

Hi There!  Today I have a quick share from The Scrapbook Store using my DT kit for November.  This month I have been playing with the glorious Crate Paper "On Trend" collection!!

"hello"

products used: cs - kaisercraft; pp - Crate Paper (On Trend); other - Crate Paper: chipboard stickers & tape stickers, Crafters Template (reverse chicken wire), kaisercraft: pearls & paint, versacolor ink, vellum; tools - typewriter.

This was such a fun photo to scrap!  Here's a little background info.  My mum lives in North Queensland.  It is about 15 hours drive.  On a good day.  It usually takes longer and can you imagine travelling that long with four children in the car, constantly asking if we are there yet???!  Yep.  It's out of love that we persevere and make these trips!!  LOL!

Anyway... When Mum comes to visit us, she usually flies.  Smart.  But she also likes to keep it a surprise for the kids!  hahaha! So... It's moments like this that I love capturing!  Even though Cam is looking extremely worried about the whole Oh-My-Gosh-Nanny-I-Can't-Believe-You-Are-Here hug!! *grin*

I have also included some hidden journaling on this page.  The words are very similar to what has been expressed above.

This is such a beautiful collection to scrap with.  And soooo many options as well.  I've cut up quite a few tags from the Tag Cuts paper to create my layers.  I so can't wait to get started on scrapping another memory with this collection soon.  Thanks for visiting..x

Fancy That Dies | Hexagons..

Hello Friends.  Today I am sharing my last post for The Papercraft Hub and their fantastic range of dies - Fancy That Dies.  Sadly I have had to say goodbye to this design team, but I will definitely continue to use the dies!!

"photo favourite"

products used: cs - kaisercraft; pp - kaisercraft, Bella BLVD; Fancy That Dies - Hexagon wallpaper, dipsy daisy, frilled blossom, scalloped floret, swirly leaf, butterfly quartet, scalloped rolled rose; other - Autumn Leaves clear stamp, Girls Paperie cardstock stickers, skewer, Greatest View sequins, washi tape.

The hexagon wallpaper has made a fun and flirty background while the extra girly touch comes from the flowers, cut from  four different dies - dipsy daisy, scalloped rolled rose, scalloped floret & frilled blossom.  I love how easy it is to mix and match the dies!  And still have a great result!

The Papercraft Hub has a gorgeous selection to choose from.  I have used seven different ones on this layout alone.  Why not head on over to the website and check them all out.  Thanks for visiting..x

Greatest View | Ribbons...

Hello Friends.  We're having a busy weekend catching up with friends, celebrating Liam's birthday and generally having a relaxing good time!  I hope your weekend is just as fun!!

Today I am sharing with you a layout created for Greatest View.  I captured this photo on my iphone just before my daughter went into her ballet exam.  She was so nervous but she always is until the music starts! :)

"ribbons"

products used: cs - Kaisercraft; pp - Bella BLVD, Echo Park, Sassafras, Authentique; Greatest View - triangle & feather whisper (boy) badges, twine, glassine bag; alpha - ; other - brown paper bag, Manor House Creations: flowers + leaves, Jillibean Soup: soup label + diecut, doily, ink (versacolor), kaisercraft pearls, mist: Mister Huey's color mist + Glimmermist; tools - typewriter, Martha Stewart border punch, Fancy That Dies: hexagon wall paper.

This layout isn't actually about her exam process.  *grin*  But it documents the achievement of having ribbons attached to her ballet slippers!  I'm sure it is every little girls dream at some stage.  At her dancing school the exam students were finally given permission from their dance teacher to have ribbons.  A little reward for working so hard!  And one that was so joyously accepted!! LOL!

Please head on over to Greatest View for the details on which products I've used.  Thanks for visiting..x
