Out-takes...

Four kids... Five minutes... 44 photos... many, many out-takes! How do you keep them looking AND smiling all at the same time... AND in the same direction?! Beats me! LOL! But it makes me smile when I see the results of five minutes, hard work!

It feels like ages since I have posted anything....or had anything to actually post! I have been busy though.... squirrelling away at this and that!!!

And this is something I can share!

The absolutely devine Kaisercraft "Devonshire" collection arrived on my doorstep earlier in the week, and I have been itching to play! This is "adore"...

On a separate note, it is our absolutely, adorable nephew's 9th birthday today!! A big shout out to you Callum! Mwah xx... We love you!

A little bit MORE rain...

Did we venture outside of our front door today? Well, the answer is yes. We needed staples. Bread and milk!! Especially if we are going to become an island on the mainland sometime today or tonight! LOL!!

I'm so glad I took the camera. I don't think you'd believe me if I said this rain only started last night....

This was the view going into the main shopping area of town...

And this is the river we needed to cross to get our shopping...

And this is the local park and playground...

Can you see the green, picnic shelter roof, just above the waterline (under the trees on the left-hand side of pic)..?

And this!...Maybe those rowboats I was talking about in the last post aren't metaphorical... This is on the school bus route!

Hhhhmmmm! I may have to double check this before the kids go to school tomorrow!

A little bit of rain...

Today we have woken up with what is probably the remains of cyclone "Olga" on our doorstep. She decided to sweep through North Queensland about a week ago leaving havoc in her wake with plenty of localised flooding.

And during last night and this morning, she has come knocking on our door....

All this, in our back yard...

Is it any wonder we can't manage to mow the grass at the moment!! LOL! I will let you know if I need to break out the row boats to get the kids to school tomorrow....
