Tahlia's book week character was chosen from her new found love with the Anne of Green Gables series. I loved this series of books when I was her age and I am so glad that she has found Anne too.
Sooo...not only was I left scrambling for Liam's Robot costume, but I had to pull out the sewing machine to create her blue gingham apron! I think it turned out okay, considering I had no pattern to follow. Lol!!
She had a good time too, parading around among the princesses, fairies and super heroes! But I still couldn't find that red hair....
Well Tahlia you look absolutely georgeous as "Anne of green gables". I remember mummy reading all the books and watching all of the videos when she was your age. In fact I quite liked them myself. I can remember Anne was also so clever at school - and I know someone else who is very clever
ReplyDeleteLove Nanny
Anne of Green gables is my all time favourite book in the whole entire world.
ReplyDeleteHey guess what!!! We juat went out for dinner here in Hobart and were enjoying our meal when in walked Princess Mary and Prince Frederick. They were sitting beside us at Margue IV. ReplyDeleteFabulous outfit, Leanne. You're very talented!
ReplyDeleteI think we've had this conversation before, but 'Anne of Green Gables' was my sister's favourite story of all time too.
Needless to say, I've seen it on video dozens of times!
If you ever need a 'Dorothy' costume from the 'Wizard of Oz', I have one. (I wore it on my first 'public' date with Rick!!!)
