Hello Friends. Have you noticed the new trend of confetti on so many layouts at the moment? I must confess I've been a fan of this for some time. :) I love that extra oomph it gives to my background as a texture. My lovely friend and fellow Greatest View DT member, Kim is a big fan too! I love how she adds confetti directly to her patterned paper!
Why am I talking about confetti? Because at Greatest View we are about to celebrate Birthday Week!
And as a pre-cursor to Birthday Week, I've created a layout about the birth of my youngest son. AND it has confetti on it! Double Yay!!

ReplyDeleteHey Leanne. It was so good to meet you at the Expo. So sorry you caught the dreaded lurgy though.
ReplyDeleteA comment about the confetti - if you want more depth you can use the full stops and dots from other letters from packs of Thickers. No need to glue them either!
Great idea Heather. I also love to use brads. :)
DeleteSuch a special way to keep all those very special memories. There's something reminiscent about using a type writer - love how you (and Kim) do this.
ReplyDeleteOH this is a fav of mine it is so soft and dreamy looking, those colours and layers are superb!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour combination you have used, everything just works so well together!
