Okay.. So it has been a while since my boys started Karate. And then abruptly dropped out. LOL! What I know now is that the lessons were too long (2 hours) and my boys were too young. :( But now that a few years have past and hopefully they have a bit more stamina, I want them to give it a go once more. To encourage them to think about participating again I created this layout for Jillibean Soup as a reminder of how much fun they had... well.. in the first half hour anyway!!

I have used Jillibean Soup's latest collections, which were released at CHA in January. If I thought the papers were gorgeous online, then I am blown away by them in real life!! They are absolutely divine!! Right down to the super cute corrugated people!! sigh!
If you would like to see more, then I encourage you, to head on over to Jillibean Soup today to check out the amazing projects from the DT. Thanks for visiting.. Oh! And wish me luck with encouraging my boys to find an after school activity.. karate or not! LOL!
This is so cute Leanne, love the clouds and the story.
ReplyDeleteIs that white shaped paper with cut outs from your Silly? Looks neat. I did karate once. Bought the uniform but couldn't handle the 100 push ups!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastically fun layout Leanne! I love the color range on this! Great photo too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful layout! Smashing design! Love the story too! 2 hours is a long time, actually! How about swimming? :) Have great weekend!!!! xo
ReplyDeleteI love this Leanne!!! 2 hours, wow! My boy's Taekwondo goes for 45 minutes and that is more than enough. I hope they can be convinced to give it another go. Soooooo good for their fitness. And a lot of fun too :).
ReplyDeleteFabulous layout, I am sure they will either love it or loathe it as they get older and know how they are going with it!
ReplyDeleteExpecting little kids to concentrate for 2 hours is madness! We also had a very odd experience with Karate... needless to say, Josh now plays Rugby, lol! Love love love your layering!
ReplyDeleteVery cool layout! I love all the fun details!!!
