Oddly enough I heard on the radio today, that many children when asked the question: "What is an apple?" will reply with an answer that astounded me.
Now an apple is a fruit right? Well according to a lot of school aged children, it is ...... a computer. Technically they are right I suppose.. Still, for me... an apple will be a fruit first and foremost! LOL!!
Why am I sharing this information? Because I have an appropriate layout to share today, created for Jillibean Soup. *grin*
"An Apple a Day"
products used: cs - Kaisercraft; pp - Jillibean Soup; alphas - Jillibean Soup; other - Jillibean Soup pea pod parts & kraft tag; mist/paint; tools - Silhouette Portrait, black pen (sharpie).
My little munchkin loves his fruit. He will have a bowl of it daily! His current favourites are kiwi fruit and apples. But he won't say no to strawberries, blueberries or rock melon! In fact, name a fruit and he will eat it. *this makes my heart happy*
I've tried to relay this message, of daily fruit consumption, by using the days of the week patterned paper. It is section of the Bite Size Bits patterned paper and I have simply cut it down into strips so the whole piece (3in x 4in) can be seen.
Don't forget to visit the Jillibean blog to check out the work of the rest of the DT. Thanks for visiting..x
