Bella Blvd | Punch Challenge...

Hello Everyone!  Today over at the Bella BLVD blog, some of the DT members have been challenged to create a layout, by breaking out our stash of punches!  I love using punches, but I must admit, now that I have a fancy die cutting machine, I tend to forget they are sitting on my shelf!  whoops!

"Seaside Magic"

products used: cs - Kaisercraft; pp - Bella BLVD; alpha - Bella BLVD; other - Bella BLVD: cardstock stickers (Sand&Surf), designer tape; glimmermist; tools - black pen, small circle punch, pinking circle punch, arrow punch, office supply hole punch.

As you may have noticed.. I have a few circle punches in my collection.  And when I use them, I like to use the negatives from the sheets of patterned paper, as layers.  The "Freestyle Sophisticates - Freestyle Salt Water" paper (blue chevron), was created by punching around the outside edge.  I placed the photo directly over the top of the area where the punch couldn't reach to give the illusion that the entire sheet of paper has been cut out with circles.

In the meantime, the actual circles have been repurposed on my layout as splashes of light and water.  *grin*  To add extra depth to my layout and the "splashes", I have used an ordinary, office supply hole punch as a smaller sized circle.

If you would like to see more, don't forget to head on over to the Bella blog to check out what the other DT members created!  You won't be disappointed.  Thanks for visiting..x
