Hello Friends.  No I didn't suddenly give up.  Life just got more busy.  Busier than my regular schedule?  You could say that!  sigh...

Friday: 6.10am | wake up. 6.15am | chase boys away from morning tv & start encouraging them to get ready for school.  breakfast for the boys.  point them in the direction of their school uniforms.  6.20 am | wake Tahlia.  she gets dressed in "free dress" day.  goes to school dressed as a ballerina.  theme for the day - when I grow up I want to be... 6.30am | shower. 6.40 am | Mark goes to work. 7.10am | coffee. 7.25am | tie up shoe laces, pack school lunches, find a hat for Cam.  7.30am | out the door to catch the school bus.  7.40am | take photo of Tahlia at bus stop. 7.45am | bus arrives and leaves without a passenger. 7.47am | walk back home with Cameron & Amber.  8.10am | fruit salad for Cam. breakfast for me.  8.20am | check emails & blog. 8.45am | spend the next several hours Spring cleaning kitchen. sweeping & mopping floors. vacuuming. getting guest room ready for the arrival of my mother. washing clothes. folding clothes. ironing clothes. entertaining Cameron. 11.30am | lunch for Cam.  12.20pm | wrapping birthday present. more cleaning. bathroom. back room. 3.10pm | kids arrive home from school. asking a million times, when does Nanny get here?  3.30pm | afternoon tea.  catch up on the school day events. 4pm | text from Mark saying they will arrive home at 6. Liam has computer time. 5.30pm | final clean up & start cooking dinner.  6pm | Nanny arrives home with Mark.  travelled via train from the city.  6.30pm | eat & catch up over dinner. 7.30pm | go to Baskin & Robbins for ice-cream treat. 8pm | go home & settle in for a family movie night. Epic. Cam falls asleep on the floor. 10pm | goodnight.

Saturday: 6.30am | wake up. shower. breakfast for the kids. 7am | charge camera battery. 7.30 am | make sure everyone has shoes on. hats and sunscreen. 8.15am | leave to go to birthday party. 8am | call into grocery shop on the way to party for extra supplies. 9am | arrive at Bullocky's Rest for birthday party. help set up the tables. visit the swans on the dam. 9.30am | birthday girl arrives. 10.30am | games & treasure hunt. 11am | lunch & cake. 12.30pm | leave party to get home in time for Tahlia to shower. change into dance costumes & apply make up. 1.15pm | leave home to go to dance studio. 1.30pm | arrive at dance studio & redo Tahlia's hair.  give a hair tutorial to the other mothers in waiting room. find a spare pair of tights to replace the holey ones Tahlia brought with her in her hurry. sign up for Tahlia to have individual photos taken. 2.30pm | leave Tahlia at dance studio & go with Mum & Cindy to the shops. 3.45pm | arrive back at dance studio to collect the girls.  go home. 4.15pm | get boys & Tahlia ready to go to circus. Mark drives down to local take away to grab some chips & gravy for dinner. 5.15pm | go to the circus. ride on dodgem cars. pat the ponies. 6pm | enter the circus tent.  first row elevated seats. awesome!. enjoy the greatest show on earth.  9.15pm | go home. a million thanks to Nanny for the wonderful circus surprise. 9.30pm | kids to bed & an early bedtime for me.

Hello Friends.  Today is going to be short & sweet.  I woke this morning with a severe headache and consequently didn't achieve much at all. Here's what happened today in words & pictures...

Thursday: 5.50am | Cam wakes the family. 6.20am | pounding headache probably due to lack of water. Mark takes over morning routine while I stay in bed. very rare occurrence.  open emails on my iPhone. receive wonderful scrappy news to find my LO is featured over at TwoPeasinaBucket. 7.40am | Mark leaves to drive the kids to school & then off to catch the train to work. 8.10am | Cam watches tv quietly while I wait for Panadol to take effect. 10am | blogging & editing photos. 11am | clean kitchen & general tidy up around the house. 12noon | bake cupcakes with Cam. eat lunch. 1.30pm | Cam falls asleep on the couch. I decorate the cupcakes to surprise the kids when they get home from school. 2.50pm | fold the washing. 3.10pm | boys arrive home from school. Tahlia stays back to audition for 2014 dance troupes ballet/contemporary & jazz. 3.20pm | afternoon tea. computer time for Liam. showers. 4.15pm | leave home to get Tahlia from dance audition. 4.30pm | chat to neighbour about scrapbooking. 5pm | Mark arrives home. start to prepare dinner. 5.30pm | boys play outside. Tahlia does homework. 6pm | dinner - chicken teriyaki stir fry. 6.30pm | late night shopping. find tutu and fairy wings for birthday gift on the week-end. 7.30pm | home again. kids eat dessert. brush teeth. go to bed. Mark lies on our bed with Cam until Cameron falls asleep. 8.10pm | Mark & I sit down and talk about our day.  watch some tv. 10pm | goodnight.

I have to admit.  Today was a blur.  Everything on my list today has snowballed one thing into another thing and another. and yet another.  sigh.  Some days I am not sure I will get it done.  Here is a look at my day in words & pictures..x

Wednesday: 5.50am | Cam wakes us up. 6.20am | I eventually get out of bed & start my day. the boys eat breakfast & get ready for school. coffee. 6.40am | Tahlia gets up and starts getting ready for school. 7.05am | Mark leaves to catch the train for work. 7.10am | shower. 7.20 am | lunches packed in school bags. teeth brushes. bus money found. 7.30am | chase the kids out the door to catch the bus. 7.43am | bus arrives early & driver is cranky. driver barely waits for the kids to get on board. 7.50am | chat to neighbours. 8.10am | arrive home. second breakfast for Cam. breakfast for me. 9am | parcel delivery. 10.20 am | morning tea for Cam - pretzels. 10.40am | DT work for TSS. blogging & messages. 12.30pm | lunch. more DT work. 1.45pm | make school lunches for tomorrow. 2.50pm | organize babysitting for the boys. 3.10pm | kids arrive home from school bus. 3.30pm | take sheets off the clothes line & make the beds. afternoon tea. 3.40pm | showers for the kids. 4pm | start cooking dinner. 5.05pm | getting ready for TSHS Academic Awards night. 5.10pm | Mark arrives home. 5.30pm | take the boys to sitter. 6.30pm | Awards night. Tahlia receives a Gold Medal for Academics.  Award of Excellence for English. 9.10pm | Finish at awards night. collect boys. make a quick trip to McDonalds for ice cream sundaes.  come home.  get kids into bed. 10pm | goodnight.

What I have noticed so far, with this little experiment, is that I need to allow myself more time to take photos of the everyday events.  Especially the ones I know occur on a regular basis.  *grin*  Here are todays words and pictures...

Tuesday: 5.50am |   wake up. we were given a slight reprieve this morning. 6am | breakfast for the boys. 6.20am | coffee. 6.30am | text from Mum with flight details. 6.40am | Tahlia up & dressed. 6.55am | Mark leaves for work. Liam feeds the dog. Ethan finally finishes breakfast. Cam gets dress. I fold laundry. 7.15am | sweep floors. 7.30am | leave home to catch the school bus. 8.05am | fruit salad for Cam. his second breakfast. general tidy up around the house. 10.20am | bake banana muffins for school lunches. 10.50am | finish scrapbooking a layout for TSS. 11.30am | lunch. 12noon | blogging. 1pm | Cam resisting having a nap but falls asleep anyway. 1.30pm | storm brewing outside. 90 km winds expected. I clean up loose items in the back yard. 2pm | work on December Daily project for TSS. 2.30pm | Cam & I collect the mail. still no rain but lots of junk mail to sort through. 3.10pm | kids arrive home from school. Tahlia announces she won Class President for Year 8, after giving a speech at school today. plenty of praise & a few high fives thrown in. 3.15pm | pack school lunches & help with school homework. Liam completes application forms for school captain 2014. 3.30pm | afternoon tea. kids watching tv. Tahlia plays connect 4 with Ethan. 4.40pm | Ethan does a rain dance on the driveway. 5.15pm | start dinner: roast lamb & veg. 5.45pm | Mark home. rain just starting to fall. Cam catches raindrops on his tongue. 6pm | Electrical storm. dog going crazy outside. all TV's & electrical equipment turned off. kids gather in front room & sit with Mark. 6.20pm | Grandma rings to congratulate Tahlia. getting candles & torches ready. hoping I don't need them & dinner finishes cooking. 6.50pm | showers. clean dishes. tidy kitchen. 7.30pm | still raining. bedtime routine starts. 8.25pm | movie time on the couch. The Lone Ranger. 10pm | goodnight.

Monday: 5.30am | wake up & snooze for a while. 5.45am | get out of bed & check on the kids.  boys are already up & watching tv. 6.05am | hang out load of washing. start motivating the kids to get ready for school. 6.20am | boys eat breakfast. 6.50am | Mark leaves for work. Tahlia gets up & eats breakfast.  6.55am | feed the dog & complete other morning chores (kids).  7.05am | finish getting ready for school.  I put on another load of washing & clear the dishes. 7.15am | shower. 7.25am | find bus money & double check that the kids all have lunch boxes in bags.  7.30am | out the door to catch the school bus.  7.45am | kids board school bus & Cam & I chat to the neighbours. 8am | second breakfast for Cameron - fruit salad (blueberries, apple & kiwi fruit. 8.15am | hang out the load of washing. 8.20am | breakfast for me.  blogging and editing photos.  Cam watches "Paw Patrol". 8.50am | make beds and general tidy up around the house. 9.50am | scrapbooking delivery. opening & admiring crafting goodies. 10.30am | morning tea. 10.45am | crafting for Hampton Art. 11.40am | lunch for Cameron.  11.55am | on phone organizing upcoming birthday events - Jessica's & Liam's. 12.15pm | taking photos of HA projects. taking washing off the clothes line. 1.30pm | leaving home to go to school & help in Ethan's classroom.  1.40pm | do some filing & homework folders for the class. 2.40pm | collect kids from school & take them home.  3.10pm | quick afternoon tea, pack school lunches & fetch school notes out of bags.  3.30pm | back out the door again to take Tahlia to dance lessons.  four hour class today - prep work for dance concert.  4.45pm | emails. 5pm | boys play the wii. 5.45pm | dinner is prepared and cooked. 6pm | the boys enjoy the final moments of daylight riding their bikes outside. 6.15pm | I sit down with the boys to eat our dinner. 6.45pm | Mark arrives home. 7.15pm | Cam, Ethan & Liam brush teeth. 7.30pm | Liam reads a bedtime story to the younger two. Mark says goodnight to the boys & leaves to collect Tahlia from dance. 7.45pm | Liam goes to bed. 8pm | I clean the dishes & tidy the kitchen. 8.25pm | Tahlia & Mark home from dance.  she eats her dinner & gets ready for bed.  the boys are already asleep.  8.30pm | Mark & I have a hot drink & catch up on our day.  we sit back & watch The Blacklist. 9pm | make a list of things to do tomorrow. scan through facebook feed. 10pm | bedtime.
