*sigh* Ballet has been a huge part of our household for a little while now, but even more so this year. As you know, Miss T, participated in her first ballet exam in October and received Honours!! Yay!

We've also just wrapped up for the year and I was also very involved in the behind-the-scenes side of her ballet recital. LOL! And this gave me plenty of opportunities to take photos! hee!

When I saw this Mini Album in my Kaisercraft DT pack, I didn't see "flip flops". I saw Ballet slippers. LOL!
Yep. I'm seeing ballet stuff everywhere!

If you'd like to see more, head on over here. Thanks for visiting...x

Create...

Today I wanted to share the beginnings of my December Daily. I have the first few pages completed and am still catching up on others. However, I am not giving up!!! LOL!! I have been scribbling notes each and every day and taking multitudes of photos! Even in very gloomy, rain darkened skies! (Makes for interesting photos!)

{Dec 1}

I have one major change on this first page. I didn't like the green journal tab (and besides - my hand writing was pretty messy!) so I decided to re-do on red. I like how it picks up the colour from my photo and blends in with the rest of the overall look.

{Dec 2}

Summer and Christmas time especially, means that stone fruit is in season and quite often we are waiting for the fresh peaches, nectarines, plums and mangoes to go into our fruit bowl.

{Dec 3}

{Dec 5}

No. I haven't forgotten December4. LOL! I just need to find some baseball card protectors so I can add lots of little photos.

{Dec 6}

A few subtle changes here too. The journal tab has been moved and some extra mini alphas added.

Well that's it for now. Hopefully I will catch up with the rest over the next day or two. Thanks for visiting...x

Create...

Yay! I have some layouts to share... Firstly the Boxx newsletter is now available and I have wrapped up my six months of the Book Of You kit with the question.... "How do you measure growth?"

Probably a little bit abstract, but the more you think about it, the more ways you can scrap about growth, becomes apparent. :)

In my two layouts, I used the literal sense of the phrase...

{One School Year}

This layout includes two photos of my school age children. One taken at the beginning of the year (January) and one taken this month (November). You can see the subtle changes in them through the time lapse in photos. Most notably, their hair!! And probably where their heads line up with the bricks in the background! *Yikes!*

{Measure Up}

My second layout is even more literal. Ethan is always checking to see how much he has grown. He is eager to go to school next year and thinks this is a tell-tale sign of when he will be ready!

(Alphas - Basic Grey: Available from the August BOY kit)

Also I can share a double page layout for Inspired Blueprints. Sketch #61 is out and is encouraging you to play with banners!! Oh! And by the way.... It is Christmas themed too! Perfect for scrapping "last" year's holiday fun!! LOL!

{Let the Countdown begin}

I wanted to create a layout that lists all of my "lists"! hee! I don't know about you, but there are always plenty of things on my to-do list. :)

Thanks so much for visiting. I plan to print out my photos for my December Daily on the weekend and share my pages (hopefully) Sunday night. Have a great day!!
