Create....

Okay... so I don't do Off The Page projects very often, but I must say, this cuckoo clock from Kaisercraft, surprised me. It can together very quickly with the Candy Lane patterned papers and Tahlia just loves it!!! You can see more of my reasons for creating it over here....

{Time for Tea}

The little butterflies were inspired by Samatha Hauzer and her little tutorial. I'm sure she won't mind me borrowing (Hee!) as she was a Kaisercraft DT member from last year!! Thanks Sam!

The new sketch is up at Inspired Blueprints. I really loved playing with this sketch. I got to tell a story I've been wanting to share for some time too! And as a bonus, we got to play with some EAD vinyl stickers and rub-ons.

{Party}

IB #57

Ethan has an invisible friend called....wait for it..."Invisible!" I tell ya! He's creative! LOL... And on this day we just had to throw Invisible a birthday party.

journaling: one boy, his imaginary friend and an invisible party! Meet "Invisible". Ethan's playmate and constant companion. They do everything together, so of course we had to throw him a birthday party when he turned 4 too!

Check out that gorgeous little lollipop! It was made by my very clever and talented friend Leanne J. Go and have a little look at her etsy!

It is also my blogging week at Kaisercraft. We are playing with two new stunning collections. Candy Lane and Homemade. Today, Karen, LG and myself are sharing our Homemade layouts!

{The "bow" tie day?}

Another fabulous story involving Ethan!

journaling: Today... you wanted to dress up just like daddy and go to work! You found one of his "bow" ties but for some reason you forgot the dress shirt!

And finally!!! There is some exciting news over at The Boxx. We are eagerly waiting for the announcement of our new design team members....... but there's a twist!!! hee hee... I know who they are and can't wait for them to join the team!! The twist? ....Well, you will just have to wait and see....x

Thanks for visiting.

ps - it is still pouring with rain here!!! :(

Rainy weather...

...leaves us with very little photo opportunities around here! hee! :) But I guess I can leave you with these...

Was it only last year we were in severe drought? At 16% water levels in our dams? I'm glad the rain is here. Even if we can't do much outside... hee! Happy wet week!!

This week has been slow. Trying to get back into school routine. Trying to get out of bed in the morning after really bad nights with Cam. Just trying to get back on top of things... Yes, this week has been slow, but I can share a little...

I was asked to create a little step by step for Kaisercraft to use in their monthly Technique Focus in Scrapbook Creations. This month it is all about stamping techniques. My article focused on journaling blocks...

{11 mos}

Scrapbook Creations no 83.

Also, this week over at Kaisercraft, more stamping! It was my turn to host the Tuesday Tip/Technique.

{3D embellishments using stamps}

Check out my little step by step and let me know what you think!

{First Birthday}

Funny thing...Both of these layouts were created months apart (July & October)! hee.. And it was never my intention to be so chronological! LOL!! But, hey! Whatever works right! :)

If you follow my little tute on the cupcake embellishment, I would love to see them!! Please leave me a little link in the comments so I can enjoy your handiwork! Thanks for visiting..x

Back to school...

Today the kids are back at school after having two weeks off...in rainy, miserable weather. But today, you'll be pleased to know, LOL, that the sun is shining as bright as ever and there is hardly a cloud in the sky! Typical huh?!

But before they went back, we decide yesterday, to take them on one last adventure! We went here....

As you can see, it was a little bright for photos! But we had a lovely picnic lunch and had a great time exploring.

We also travelled a little bit further and visited here...

Can you tell that this cheeky monkey didn't have any trouble with the heights! LOL!

Lake Wivenhoe

It is gorgeous out there and well worth the drive (although it is really only 1 1/2 hours away). And while there we saw these guys too. Completely in the "wild". LOL!

So, there hasn't been a whole lot of scrapping done this week-end, but now I have plenty of photos to use (for when I do actually manage to sit down and play with paper and scissors!).

Thanks for visiting...x

When you let your guard down...

..for just ONE minute when you have a very active and adventurous child in the house.... this is what happens....

No help. Just achieved with a new climbing skill, a sense of adventure and a certain death wish if his Mummy finds him here again. LOL! I think I would have been happier to find him sitting on the dining room table munching on apples from the fruit bowl, than playing with my scrapping goodies!! (I'm sure that will come!)

In other news, Tahlia had her first ballet exam yesterday, and while she was very nervous, as far as we can tell, she did a great job. We won't know her results for another 3-4 weeks yet.

And........Woot Woo! I won the Scrapmaster competition that was held over at Scrapability Sketches!! Yay! The girls over there are just lovely! And I can't wait to play a little more in the future!
