Have I shared this layout??? I'm pretty sure I have. It was for a challenge I set over at Scrapboxx - record a conversation.

{My Frankenstein}

I've been looking for it in my files from last year. And do you think I can find it? Nope. Nah-dah.

It has been published in this month's Scrapbooking Memories (Vol 13, no 6). These photos were from Liam's Book Week photo shoot from last year. :D He is a little monster!! Only kidding. I don't think I can say that this close to Mother's Day anyway! LOL!!!

Actually, I had forgotten it was being published this month. So it was a nice surprise when I found this layout in the magazine too!

This layout was created for the Scrapabilities Scrap Master competition. It needed to have layers, and from memory, I think I plastered about seven layers onto this one!! :D

Happy Mother's Day...

This morning, as I was lying in bed, pretending to be asleep, and listened to the rattle and crashes from the kids and Mark, being busy in the kitchen, I waited to see the eager little faces of my four wonderful children...

I waited in anticipation of the warm squishy hugs (and occasional knee in the ribs as they climb all over the bed!), their shy smiles as they handed over their hand drawn Mother's Day cards and the piece of toast that gets shared five ways!

And I thought... This is what it is all about. Love these moments....

The Giant Cupcake...

Why is it, that in our household, birthday celebrations tend to last a week! LOL!! It's not like we don't have enough birthdays throughout the year - four kids keep me busy....

And this week has been dedicated to......................... Miss Tahlia! ta dah...!

Last week-end we went camping (yep. again.) for Tahlia's birthday. We went local, to Wivenhoe Dam. Another beautiful camping area...

...celebrated with a surprise party at HogsBreath Cafe on her actual birthday...

...and today, another birthday party with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins!...

Happy birthday week sweet girl! And now I hope I can put my feet up a little bit.. (cause, the next birthday isn't until July!!!) LOL!

Happy Birthday Tahlia!

Today is our sweet daughter's 11th birthday!!!! Wow! Where did that huge, heart wrenching feeling of loosing control of time, come from! She was once this little.... It can't have been that long ago?...

...and we were, and of course still are, completely and uncontrollably smitten with her...

She is our eldest child. Our only daughter.

...and is a complete and utter BLESSING for our whole family. We love her so very much!!

Darling girl, we are so proud of you. You are amazing, beautiful, talented and so, so clever! I am bursting at the seems with pride and love for you. Your generous and gentle nature, blooms with each passing year. Thank you for being my daughter.

But darling, promise me this... please stay little for just a bit longer. I don't think my heart can handle you growing up so fast.

Today I want to share with you my layouts and beyond the page projects that I have created for Kaisercraft this month.

The April releases are simply beautiful. Soft baby pinks and blues from Lullaby, and classic old world charm from Chanteuse.

{It's a Boy}

Cam was only a few days old here. I love this photo not only because it captures the essence of a new born, but because of the story behind it. I was just holding the camera in my hand and I went to stroke his beautiful, little face. As I was taking my hand away, I accidentally touched his and his reflex immediately kicked in to catch my finger. Thank goodness the camera was close by, as I now have this memory captured, documented and stored in my heart. :)

{Treasured}

The Chanteuse collection has so many delicate details. I love the gold frames from the 6.5" paper pad, that have been used behind Tahlia's photos. The pink and brown tones, images of chandeliers and gorgeous blooms, will have me reaching for these papers over and over again! :D

I have also created a fun little treasure box to house all the bits and pieces my boys bring to me. You know, pieces of special string, different coloured rocks & bottle tops!! LOL!

Now I just have to convince the boys to limit their finds to what will fit in this box! LOL! Wish me luck on that one..x

And finally, a card. One that my Mum has already claimed and passed onto a new mum!
