Jillibean Soup | Everyday Superhero...

Well CHAW2015 is all finished for another year and there are a gazillion new releases out there, flooding our computer screens, as the lucky ones snap away at their favourite new collections!  I so wish I could have been there too.  Don't we all! *grin*  But in my stead, I am very fortunate to have had some of my work on display, right here at the Jillibean Soup Booth.

 

 

 

I was asked to play with the new Jillibean Soup | Soup Staples III.  A new collection of 12x12 papers and an assortment of paper goodies to use as "sides"!

Jillibean Soup | Love Notes...

Hi Everyone!  I'm back again today (and somewhat late!!) to share another CHA project created for Jillibean Soup. 

 

products used: cs - Kaisercraft; pp - Jillibean Soup (Heart Healthy Red Bean Soup/Soup Staples II); other - Jillibean Soup: paper doiles, pea pod parts, stampables kraft bags, beanstalks (twine), flash cards, soup labels, coordinating stickers; mist, embroidery thread; tools - typewriter, foam tape.

I really love this Valentine's Day collection and was thrilled when given the chance to play along with it.  There are plenty of layers here too.  *grin*  I couldn't help myself!  And in the craziness that is CHA... I created this LO within two hours!  And that included the online communication with both Kimber and Jill.  A small feat in itself considering the time differences! LOL!

This layout will hold all those special notes my Mr 8 likes to write to me.  sigh... These love notes will become a more treasured gift in years to come. :)

Jillibean Soup | Oh Darling!

Hello Friends!  I have just realized that I haven't shared my projects that travelled to CHA in January.  :)  My lovely friend Kim Jeffress, was kind enough to hand deliver my projects to the team setting up the Jillibean Soup booth, because I feared if I sent them via snail mail, they'd still be on route right now! *grin*  I am very grateful that she was able to do this for me, so thanks heaps Kim..x

 

Today I want to share a Valentine's Day card that was on the Jillibean blog earlier this week and a project that was sent to CHA.  I had so much fun playing with the new kraft-style collection | Healthy Heart Red Bean Soup.

 

 

products used: cs - Kaisercraft; pp - Jillibean Soup; other - Jillibean Soup: paper doily, peapod parts, twine, stickers; embroidery thread, ink; tools - hand stitching, hole punch, foam tape.

 

Just a simple slide out card but the layers on it make it fun!  The hand stitching got a little wobbly at the bottom of the card too, but I like that it just adds to the charm of home made.

What can I say?  *swoon*  Lucky Starz is going to keep me inspired to scrap continually throughout 2014!  I am loving the colours and the basic shapes!  I don't think this collection can do any wrong! LOL!!  Bell Pepper Starz with the triangles on the reverse side (if I have to choose) is my favourite from this collection.

Bella Blvd | Introducing Max...

Max is seriously cool. He’s too old for toys, but totally interested in his new guitar and creating the perfect playlist to jam to. Instead of focusing on his homework Max dreams of being a rock star, going hunting with his friends someday, & even beginning high school with all the pretty girls. Chill out with Max from Bella Blvd.

 

 

There's something about camo in greys and neutrals and the strong grey text on black patterned paper that makes me LOVE this piece in the MAX collection.  I think I will be thoroughly inspired to scrap my boys and their activities in the coming year!
