Ummmm... Somewhere during this week, I have repeated myself. Not with the scrapping (although that is happening as I blog for Kaisercraft!), not with my words (although I am constantly in repeat mode with the kids - do this... put this on... don't do that...!) but with my week. Not making any sense??? No. I'm sure I'm not.
This week I have had a repeat visit to the dentist, with Ethan. All is fine there. Just some minor fillings required. Yuk. It seems the family trait of reflux is playing havoc with his poor little teeth. We now have to visit a paediatric dentist!
(about the photo: don't ask!!! LOL!)

But the major "deja vu" episode this week would have to be Tahlia and her fractured "right" wrist. On Monday, her school rang me to let me know she had fallen and injured her wrist. She was home by lunch and in complete pain. She then started to complain about her "left" wrist. I just put the pain down to her wrist and hand being over stressed because it is not used to being used for doing everything. Gave her some children's neurophen and helped her into bed.
Tuesday morning and both arms are still very sore. I rang to make a doctor's appointment, but of course couldn't get in any earlier then 3.30pm. So off to school she went. Sling on her "good" arm! LOL!! By afternoon, her poor little wrist was very swollen and the doctor couldn't even touch it without Tahlia flinching. Off we went, four kids in tow, to get another x-ray. You should have seen the bewildered looks I got when I confirmed with the radiologist technician that she was to x-ray the "left" arm. Not the "right" one which is already in a cast up to her elbow! hee hee...
Anyway, by Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, we had so many phone calls, text messages and general enquires about "How on Earth did Tahlia "break" both of her arms????"
By Wednesday afternoon, we had the results of the radiologist report. NO FRACTURE. Yippee! Both the Doctor and I (especially me) sighed a HUGE sigh of relief! LOL! And so this is how she has been getting around at school since then....
She has a sense of humour about it. The rest of us just can't believe the whole ludicrousness of the situation. And I felt for her teacher. Another child in the class broke his arm about a week ago. It's not looking good for 5E at the moment! hee hee...
So, as you can see, this week has been unusual. Mark has been home sick and poor Liam, over shadowed by his big sister's predicament, has tonsillitis back again. And of course, Cam is growing more teeth....
I think I might just stay in bed this weekend and recover from everyone else's ailments!!! LOL!!
ps - sorry. I did say this was going to be a scrappy posting week. I have more to share. I guess I'm just going to put it on hold for a few days.....x
