Well, everything went smoothly... no tears. No tantrums. In fact, I couldn't get to school fast enough for the kids... They loved being back there, finding a new desk to sit at and old friends to sit next to....

Project 365...
A week already? Here's my update... (so far, so good!)
Jan 15 - I received some "happy" mail!
Jan 14 - We had a baking day, where we made these marshmallow cookies, found in the new recipe book Tahlia got for Christmas.
Jan 15 - I received some "happy" mail!
Jan 16 - We bought an apple slinky maker! Now we need to limit the number of apples the kids eat per day!
Jan 17 - The kids actually asked for a fruit platter for morning tea! I can't complain about that... hee hee!
Jan 18 - Poor baby had his six month needles...
Jan 19 - My reliable little helper around the house!! I ask the boys to help out too, but there's no guarantee the work will get done within a reasonable time frame!
Jan 20 - Cam loves to watch our dog through the window...and our dog loves to watch him!
Thanks for visiting...Please leave a comment especially if you are doing this too! I'd love to see how you are putting this little project together! I've started a flickR gallery. You can find it in the side bar--->

Project 365...
I've decided that this will be much easier for me...(ahem)...if I post my photos weekly. :) This is a sample of our last few days.
Jan 7 - The kids love these home made danishes. They are very fond of the chicken and cheese ones but I often make ham and cheese which are quite popular too.

Jan 8 - Tahlia and I had a "Mummy/Daughter" date. Something we haven't done in such a long time. We went to see the Princess and the Frog. It was really good but I felt the voodoo scenes were underplayed during the advertising of the movie. Younger kids could get scared quite easily. Disney was a little heavy handed with the "dark" side in this movie.
Jan 9 - Sad, but true. We finally had a moment spare to take the Christmas tree down today. We look at it's longevity in being displayed, as part of our family enjoying the season just a little extra, this time around! LOL!
Jan 10 - Our clever little man started clapping!! I'm so excited about this... hee hee!
Jan 11 - Cameron had some quality time playing with a new Christmas gift. He loves to grab those big, green elephant ears!
Jan 12 - A funny little scene I found that Ethan had created. A long line of cars! I thought it might have been a traffic jam, but no! Apparently, they are all lined up to go to the movies at the drive-in!
Jan 13 - Today we went to Bribie Island. It was a nice little treat to go over there and have a picnic morning tea. The kids had a play at the park and then we couldn't resist the water! It was such a beautiful morning!!

Milestone...
Hey! Guess what... My baby boy is a clapper! LOL!
At first I thought it was a fluke! There's no way he could have that kind of control at six months. That's suppose to be a skill for the ten month olds, right? Guess I could be wrong though... He does seem to clap when encouraged by his sister and brothers! LOL!

Create...
Yay! I've scrapped for the first time in what feels like ages!! I've got a heap to catch up on and document with some really fun photos to share. Maybe now, having got through Christmas, New Year and Ethan's 4th birthday, I'll have a bit more time to scrap! hee hee... Well, here's hoping! LOL!
With this first lo, can you guess what stage Cam is up to? Yep. Six months old and teething! Poor baby. I wish I could make it easier for him...

And some detail... (white flower from my friend Jodie's etsy shop. Isn't it gorgeous!)
This next lo seems out of place just after Christmas... but I found this cute picture of Ethan and I needed to scrap it before Easter 2010 comes around... IYKWIM! LOL! Yep. I'm playing catch up in a big way! hee hee..
More detail... I'm loving these homemade flowers...
So glad I've made time for some creative stuff for the first time this year. Thanks for visiting...

Project 365 days of photos...
Here's the start to my epic photo journey for the year 2010. I haven't missed a day so far...but that's not saying much considering we are only 6 days into the year!!! Hee hee...
Jan 1 - It might seem odd that I am starting the year with a photo of a Christmas tree, but on New Year's Day, we celebrated a second Christmas, with family near to where we live. The reason for this celebration, was due to our unexpected trip to North Queensland. And all the kids (8 of them) wanted to celebrate together... In this photo, Ethan is also singing at the top of his voice "Oh! Christmas Tree". A song he seemed to sing, whenever he saw one! LOL!
Jan 2 - Tahlia received a friendship bracelet kit from her Great-Grandma for Christmas and was amazed to hear that this was the sort of thing Mummy used to make when she went to school!
Jan 3 - We've had a lot of rain recently. A LOT. On this day it rained for over 12 hours non-stop. No flooding, thankfully.
Jan 4 - Our little man turned 4. He had a wet weather birthday party with his cousins. He had been waiting all year for his turn to blow out the candles on a birthday cake!! Now he wants to stay 4 forever!
Jan 5 - More wet weather and some gumboot time...
Jan 6 - Mr "I'm 4", had a trip to the doctors for his immunisation and general health check up. He is now 116 cm tall and 16.4 kgs. And didn't cry or flinch one little bit while getting his needles. He was super brave! :)
Thanks for visiting. xx

365 photos...
Have you seen this...
This going to be my goal for the year. At least one photo per day (not necessarily blogged on the same day - eeek!). This is my chance to be documenting the year through photos even if I don't get to put the words with it...A challenge for sure, because my days are pretty busy as it is...hee hee! I will upload my start to the year...maybe tomorrow? LOL!
