Week-end Adventure...

Yesterday we got back from a lovely week-end camping getaway. It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind with good friends and just let the kids be kids!

Of course now I have all the washing and sorting out of camp gear to do, but it is all worth it. Especially if we can enjoy each other as a family without any modern day appliances!! LOL! And let me tell you, I'm pretty sure we did our bit for Earth Hour on Saturday evening!!

We actually didn't do too much in the way of exploring. Apart from continually using the creek and a little bit of horse riding...

...the entire visit to this gorgeous area, Widgee, was very low key. *sigh* Now it's back to reality .... and a few piles of washing! LOL!

Thanks for visiting. Tomorrow I will draw a winner from my bloggerversary give away! So stay tuned!! hee hee...x

Looks like you had an ace time. We actually went away for a relaxing weekend too. We did the cabin thing but I must admit, there is nothing like the "real" camping trip.
